Yes!
Seawater becomes potable.
Yes!
Leuven-based De Dijle’s water becomes potable.

An entire water purification system built into a sea container, deployable anywhere in the world. Even in the absence of power by using renewable energy. Clean, potable water. Available to all! That is our mission.

The system was tested for three months last summer at Nieuwpoort-aan-zee. An official lab took samples and concluded that the water produced meets the strict Belgian* and European* drinking water standard. As of September, the system is being tested at De Dijle in Leuven and we have already established without a doubt that the water produced meets the strict Belgian and European drinking water standard.
*Belgium: Flemish Decree 2002, *EU Directive (2020/2184)

“We are now ready for the future. 97% of water on earth is salt water. 3% is fresh water. And only a fraction of the fresh water can be used as drinking water without treatment.

Our system creates endless possibilities to make more water usable for people, animals, agriculture and industry. We offer a solution for one of the major challenges of the future. Potable water, accessible to all, anywhere in the world, produced sustainably with a minimum of energy.”

The AquaBREG system is built into a sea container. For every site, a made-to-measure solution is available depending on the water available for purification (salt water – fresh water), the desired quantity, the intended use of the water produced and access to electricity.

We are pleased to invite you to the AquaBREG kick-off event where the system will be demonstrated live.  Appointment at De Hoorn in Leuven on 18-11-2022. Please confirm your attendance by email.
